Odyssey: Nebula is a VR immersive experience game with deep emotions and realism as its theme, inspired by the late Chinese game developer Mao Xingyun and the experiences of my generation of gamers. I try to use this work to connect the development process of games from the 1990s to 2024, explore how games shape the inner world of gamers, and allow gamers like Mao Xingyun and me to choose the path to follow their gaming dreams.
